Hey, September! Good to see you – it’s been a while. While it’s mildly sad that the good old British summer has disappeared, we here at Team Super Break just love the autumn season! All we’ve been able to talk about for the past few weeks is the promise of cosy nights in watching The Great British Bake Off and warming meals/drinks. Take a peek at our autumnal tip list and make the most of the leafy few months!

1. Take a long walk through the leaves

Is there anything more satisfying than walking through a big pile of leaves and finding a conker?! We think not… Grab a loved one and enjoy the auburn shades on a long walk.

2. Wrap Up Warm

Whether you like stew and dumplings or a sticky toffee pudding, it always tastes better if it’s homemade! Find a new recipe and challenge yourself!

6. See a West End Show

Autumn is a great time to see a show on the glittering West End! Take in a matinee performance for a day trip or look forward to an evening slot and make a weekend of it!

7. Enjoy Halloween!

If there’s one annual celebration where you can really get into the ghoulish spirit of things, it’s Halloween! Root around your dressing-up box and find your scariest outfit – all the better if you have a competition to try and win!

8. Plan Your Days

With the days getting shorter, it’s easy to curl up in bed and try a spot of hibernating. To lessen the blow, try planning your week with interspersed fun activities and chores.

9. Travel to Reykjavik

The snow… The views… The chance of seeing The Northern Lights… Reykjavik, Iceland is a pretty spectacular place! Autumn for us also marks the start of their official winter season, so get your thermals ready!

10. Try a New Look

It’s time to sort out your wardrobe, pop the summer clothes away for the year and try a whole new style! We’re thinking fashionable overcoats, chunky knits and a perfectly smart autumn boot.

11. Embrace Bonfire Night
