SuperBreak’s Annette Hogan ventured to London recently to see the amazing Ed Sheeran perform live at The O2 Arena. Read on for her review of the night…

We got there early and it was packed – finding somewhere to eat was a challenge. I expect it was because it was a Sunday and everyone was making the most of the day, but we managed to find a table at Café Rouge and had a lovely meal.

The O2 Arena was full to capacity for this amazing concert and they were not disappointed. Saint Raymond, the support act was really good, and from the sounds coming from the audience he had great support too! But, it was Ed we were all waiting for! And he was amazing – just him and a guitar on stage. The atmosphere was electric and the crowd all knew his songs singing along with him – it was quite spine tingling. Especially when he asked everyone to use their mobiles, the audience looked like a Christmas light show. Also, when he asked the audience to clap along, all you could see was a sea of arms. He interacted with the audience all the time and he was obviously happy to be at The O2!

Ed Sheeran has an amazing voice and is a phenomenal guitar player. A brilliant night with lots of people coming out singing his last song of the night.
