We love a good mini cruise here at Superbreak headquarters, and lucky for us we’ve got loads of the fab breaks on sale right now! When I and some fellow Superbreakers went on the Take That, Robbie, Westlife and Bublé themed cruise back in November (you can read about it here!) we really didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment we stepped on board to the moment we met ground in Hull, it really was incredible. With that in mind I thought I’d share some of the mini cruises that are coming up in 2014 so you can see which ones might best suit your taste. From the good old standard Bruges or Amsterdam mini cruise to amazingly entertaining themed cruises, here’s 5 of the best…

1. It’s back…for good!

Do you see what I did there? That’s right, the Take That mini cruise to Amsterdam is back for 2014 and we’re looking for some of you lot to join us once again. Last year was incredibly popular, with nearly 1000 of our fabulous customers joining us on board! Have a look at the video below to get a better idea of what to expect, but with live tribute acts, quizzes, competitions, games, VIP, sweets, dancing, casinos and much more, what else could you want?

2. Love is in the air

Valentine’s Day is less than a month away now guys and girls, so if you haven’t got anything planned yet you need to get yourself on one of our cruises to either Amsterdam or Bruges! Take a trip to Holland and not only will you get to spend an exciting day discovering this historical city, you’ll also witness live music from X Factor and West End star, Andy Abraham! If you’d prefer a trip to Bruges, then you can dine in style on board the ship in the very swish a la carte brasserie. Once dinner is over you can sit back and relax to the beautiful vocal tones of Mim Grey. Both cruises depart on Friday 14th February 2014 and start from £85pp.

3. St. Paddy’s on the sea

This years’ St. Patrick’s Day will go off with a bang as our Amsterdam Party Cruise sets sail. On March 17th join Irish folk singers, The Beckett Band for live music and dancing, or for something a little more chilled, accordionist Colette O’Leary (who won two All-Ireland titles) and fiddler Carlene Anglim (who’s won the BBC Folk on 2 Young Tradition Award along with numerous other awards) will perform a set of classic Irish tunes sure to entertain you in the show lounge. However you wish to celebrate the day, our St. Patrick’s mini cruise has it covered, and all from just £55pp…BARGAIN!

4. Madonna & MJ

Another of this years’ biggest themed cruises for 2014 celebrates two of the most famous names in pop music that the world has ever seen – Madonna and Michael Jackson! On March 8th, the ship sets sail for Amsterdam and two nights of spectacular music from the 80s and 90s. You’ll also enjoy all of the usual excitement found on board, from cinemas to games rooms, the sundeck to the duty free and everything in between. Join us from just £79pp.

5. Return of The South

Several members of original group, The Beautiful South have teamed up once again to bring us all some great music – this time on board one of our amazing mini cruises to Amsterdam! With classic songs such as Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Old Red Eyes, Good as Gold, Don’t Marry Her this is definitely one for those of you who love a good reminisce! Come along on March 28th from just £89pp!

All of our mini cruises are with the wonderful P&O Ferries and sail from Hull to Rotterdam (Amsterdam) or Zeebrugge (Bruges). You’ll spend two nights on board in a lovely cabin, be transferred to and from the port into the city and enjoy around 5 hours to shop, explore and relax!
