New York, USA

Ah New York, New York! The ultimate city break destination offering a little taste of the American dream. With world-famous sights such as The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty and Central Park, there’s no wonder The Big Apple appears on most people’s travel bucket list.

New York is preparing for an exciting year in 2014 with the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII kicking off at the MetLife Stadium for the first ever cold-weather open-air Super Bowl. To celebrate this humongous event, New York City’s Broadway will be transformed into the ‘Super Bowl Boulevard’ offering a free, interactive football-themed experience for visitors.

2014 will also mark the opening of the Western Hemisphere’s tallest building, One World Trade Center. At 1,776 feet tall, this ultra-modern building takes pride of place in New York’s incredible skyline symbolising the city’s undoubtable determination and spirit.


Reykjavik, Iceland

Times are a-changing for Reykjavik in Iceland! The city has seen a fantastic boom in tourism over the last few years with no sign of it stopping in 2014.
