The saying “a change is as good as a rest” has never been more true, according to new research. It seems that short breaks are a better way to distress and recharge those tired batteries, with longer holidays proving to be more stressful! It’s thought as many as 86% of us are choosing to pack up the car and head off for a few days away and choosing to do so every three months.

Short breaks across the UK are becoming incredibly popular and with new figures showing half of people quizzed feel more stress from a longer break it’s easy to see why. Many people feel more pressure on returning to work after a week or more away from their desks with 66% of people instead opting for shorter and regular breaks away.
