According to the our latest booking figures, watching Mary and Paul gets us in the mood for holidays, not baking!
It seems The Great British Bake Off has inspired more than an interest in cooking, according to the latest booking figures here at Superbreak. Reviewing data from the past few months, Tuesday at 8pm was the most popular time to book a break on mobiles and tablets, as more and more of us are surfing online whilst watching television.
Bookings made from mobile devices has increased dramatically in the last two years and here at Superbreak, we’re expecting this trend to continue over the festive period as so many of us will be receiving tablets as presents. Last year we saw mobile and tablet use on Christmas Day increase by a whopping 85% on 2011.
Unsurprisingly, key times to book are during the daily morning and evening commute, but we also saw some interesting peaks such as at 11am on weekdays mobile bookings spike, perhaps as those of us at work decide to book a short break during our tea break?!
What’s more, it seems the majority of us prefer to use Apple devices for both phone and tablet, with bookings from iPads and iPhones way ahead of the nearest competitor, Samsung Galaxy.
So what are you waiting for? You can browse our mobile site wherever you are and get planning your next Superbreak!
