As a little girl I used to love slipping under the covers knowing that each winter’s night sleep brought me a little closer to Christmas Eve.
Even now, as the nights draw in colder and longer, I’m filled with festive glee just knowing that there are less and less sleeps until Santa magically sweeps across the skies.
While I may be a bit old for it now, I know plenty of kids who are already very excited – and I know just the way to give them some extra special memories this year. If your little ones are on your nice list, why not treat them to a magical Santa sleep over where they can count down one less sleep in true festive style?
While most families may be unable to afford to jet-off and visit Santa amidst the snowy slopes of Lapland, there’s plenty of opportunities to meet Santa that are closer to home.
This winter, families can slope off to one of Alton Tower’s themed hotels, where they can enjoy Christmas dinner, meet Santa in his grotto, visit Rudolph and the reindeers, play in the water-park and have go on thrilling attractions and themed rides before bedding down for the night.
And as there’s now a festive ice rink nestled in the hotel’s grounds you’re sure to find that you and your little ones will be magically tired out and dreaming of the Christmas presents soon to come, thanks to the festive fun on offer.
If you’d like to whisk the family off for a magical Santa sleep-over at Alton Towers, please don’t forget to check our hotel and ticket packages first.
