It’s almost that time of year where we pull on our winter warmers and start thinking about the Christmas Shopping early! Each year we promise ourselves we won’t leave it until the last minute and that we will have it all done so we can just enjoy the run up to Christmas, but the shopping doesn’t have to be rushed and un-enjoyable! Each year the UK and Europe celebrate Christmas with some incredible international and local markets so it’s easier than ever to pick some quirky, unique gifts AND enjoy a city break.

One of the most famous markets in the UK is the Lincoln Christmas Market which attracts 1000’s of visitors each year. With traditional chalets selling arts and crafts, foods from across Europe and fairground attractions it’s easy to get in the festive spirit. But you have to be quick, Christmas Market hotels in Lincoln sell out fast, so make sure you plan ahead if you are thinking of enjoying this festive market.

If you fancy heading off to Europe why not check out the Bruges Christmas Marketor the Cologne Christmas Market, both perfect for discovering the historic cities and for picking up a bargain or two on your travels! Many markets run from the end of November to the first few days in January giving you plenty of time to decide where you want to go.

Will you be checking out any of the Christmas Markets this year?
