One of Amsterdam’s best qualities is simply that it has such a wide appeal. You can relax on a canal cruise, take in all the famous sights, head to a museum for the day, or experience the nightlife. We think we have our bases covered with this one – our Ultimate Amsterdam ticket package has all you need for a proper introduction to the city’s best bits. Start with either your walking tour around the city – lead by a knowledgeable guide – or choose the classic way to get your bearings and jump on a tour bus with your 24 Hour Hop-on-Hop-off pass. The Van Gogh Museum – easily one of the finest art museums in the world, with one of the finest collections, it has the collateral to bring in major international exhibitions – is also included. Round off a jam-packed day with a candlelight cruise along the Amsterdam’s famous waterways, undoubtedly the most romantic way to see the city.
There’s no more charming way to discover Amsterdam than on this handy ticket package. Appreciate this cycle-friendly city on the back of a bike to really get a sense of how the locals live; pedalling over the cobbled bridges and riding canal side by the city’s pretty waterways. When you’ve exhausted yourself doing that – and trust us, you will, it’s a big place! – then you can hop on a tour bus to continue exploring the city. The Heineken Experience is a great way kick off – a factory tour at Holland’s premier beer, you can enjoy a refreshing drink (or two) whilst learning all about the globe-conquering brand. Follow this up with a restorative Burger & Beer Cruise – a great way to take in the city by the early evening light whilst chowing down on fare from one of the city’s best renowned burger joints. By then you’ll be all set up to really let loose, and to discover Amsterdam’s nightlife for yourself on a Bar Crawl, with entry into the must-visit Ice Bar also included. Best when you’re travelling in a group, discover why Amsterdam is the top city break for friends in Europe.
We adore the museums in Amsterdam – there are so many of them! If you wanted to come for a purely cultural experience, you could easily spend a whole weekend between the Dutch capital’s finest art galleries, and that’s not to mention the museums dedicated to the city’s fascinating and varied history. Our Amsterdam Museums package is a good place to start – with tickets to the world-renowned Van Gogh museum and Amsterdam’s ever-popular Rijksmuseum both included. Throw in a canal cruise and a Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour, and it’s the ideal start to your cultural getaway in Amsterdam.
Of course, there’s much to love about The Netherlands and not quite all of it is in Amsterdam. This fabulous package is a great introduction to the country as a whole, taking in as it does some more of the traditional aspects of the Dutch heritage. You’ll still get the Amsterdam experience – taking in the stunning capital on an informative walking tour and a luxurious champagne canal cruise – but will enjoy a more rounded trip to Holland with day tours out to some of its quaint towns and villages. Home of the Dutch parliament, you’ll get to visit The Hague and its many historic sights, combined with a trip to the world-famous Delft factory where they’ve made famous Blue Pottery for 350 years. As Dutch as Dutch can be, you’ll also see Volendam & Zaanse Schans – the quaint fishing villages famed for their windmills and cheese factories!
