There’s always something going on in the capital, but if you’re looking to visit London this summer and want to know what’s coming up, look no further! From premier sporting events to full-on foodie festivals, as always, the capital’s got it covered…

Notting Hill Carnival

This annual celebration gets even bigger this year, as 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the Notting Hill Carnival. A feast for the senses, you can dive into the Caribbean culture and experience an atmosphere like no other event can provide. Happening over August bank Holiday, you can enjoy everything from international Calypsonian artists, poetry and storytelling to the main event – the Grand Finale Parade. Henley Royal Regatta

The best known regatta in the world (or so they say), this event draws hordes of visitors to the Thames every year. Lasting for five days, there are head-to-heads and knockout competitions galore, offering spectators a real thrill as they cheer on the rowers from the river banks. As a premier event, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the finer things, including exceptional food and wines in the hospitality suites.

Henley Royal Regatta draws thousands of visitors every year

Hampton Court Flower Show

Pay a visit to the spectacular grounds of Hampton Court Palace and witness the world’s largest annual flower show. Perfect if you love the great outdoors and is a must see if you class yourself as a passionate gardener. With incredible Conceptual Gardens by up-and-coming as well as established gold medal winning designers, you must remember your camera! There’s also a fabulous panoramic view of show ground from the Allium Restaurant.

Taking place between the 2nd and 5th of July 2015.


Red Bull Air Race

Now in its 12th year, the Red Bull Air Race World Championships return to London set to wow spectators once again. Witness death-defying flying as the pilots push themselves and their planes to the limit, winding through assault courses and pushing through speed barriers. For adrenaline-junkies this is an absolute must see, and is truly one of the most impressive events to happen in the capital each year.

Get yourself there on the 15th & 16th August 2015.

Not heard of it? Well if you a good BBQ you need to be at Grillstock London 2015! This American import is a celebration of all things that grill, plus great music (this year’s headline act is Razorlight!), eating competitions and of course, plenty of beers to wash it all down. It’s a festival experience like no other, and definitely something to tick of your bucket list of ‘things to do in London’.
