5. Discover the secret of potato fries at the Bruges Frietmuseum, £5pp

If you love chips (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), then this museum completely dedicated to potato fries is the place for you. It’s the only one of its kind and a true testament to Belgian culinary traditions – yep that’s right, chips originated right here! 6. Bravely climb up the Leaning Tower of Pisa, approx. £14.50pp

It’s probably the most famous tower in Europe and all because of its accidental tilt – they couldn’t have planned if they tried! It really is a curious site to see and even more curious to climb. 8. Walk round the stunning Plitvice Lakes of Croatia, approx. £5.80pp

Trust me when I say this place is stunning! With bright blue water, greener than green scenery and a tranquil atmosphere worthy of an award, Plitvice Lakes of Croatia is probably worth much, much more than it’s extremely reasonably £5.80 price tag. It’s the oldest national pack in southeast Europe, the oldest in Croatia and registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979 – you only have a look a few pictures to understand why!

The cable car in Gibraltar is without a doubt the ultimate way to capture spectacular views of the Iberian Peninsula (and a great way to meet a few furry friends too). Making your way up the Rock of Gibraltar on the cable car, you’ll be greeted by the local and friendly Barbary Apes as well as having the opportunity to snap amazing views of the surrounding areas – you can see Morocco too!
