Ozzfest at the O2

British rock fans old and new have something very special to look forward to after the summer’s over: The Prince of Darkness himself is bringing one of the best-loved rock festivals back to the UK, as Ozzfest comes to the O2.

Whether you’re dying to see Ozzy Osbourne himself, or one of the other great rock and metal bands he’s wrangled for the event – including Korn, Skindred and the recently reformed Murderdolls – you can step straight into the bowels of hell for one fantastic day when the festival comes to London‘s biggest venue on Saturday 18th September!

Ozzy Osbourne is one of those figures who’s succeeded in uniting the generations, even if many people who weren’t around at the height of his music career in the 70s and 80s might know him best as a foul-mouthed reality TV star! But on the stage is where Ozzy’s at his best, and you can be sure to hear all the classic songs like ‘Paranoid’ and ‘Crazy Train’ alongside choice cuts from his new album, Scream.

Ozzy’s not the only reason to head down to Ozzfest though, with bands like Korn and Skindred making sure alternative music lovers of all ages will have something to look forward to. And the night doesn’t have to end when Ozzy’s band leaves the stage either, when you book your ticket and choice of hotel with Superbreak – taking the day of darkness well into the night!

Like any great festival, you can look forward to more than just the music at Ozzfest. The huge venue will apparently be transformed into a ‘Village of the Damned’ – complete with twisted fairground rides, stalls and tattoo artists if you want to come away with more than a wristband to remember the day by. If all that sounds a little scary, you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised – rock fans are usually some of the nicest people you’ll meet!
