Team SuperBreak’s Trish, Becca and Michael were lucky enough to catch Fleetwood Mac at the O2 Arena – the biggest dates on their On With The Show tour. In this special review video, our SuperBreak reps in the know tell us all about seeing the band, their favourite tracks and their O2 Arena experience…

“It was a dream come true for me” – SuperBreak’s Trish on seeing Fleetwood Mac

The O2 Arena has seen many special events over the course of its lifetime, but Fleetwood Mac never fail to impress here. Since Christine McVie re-joined the band the five of them have played over 90 performances together, yet it still feels like a privilege to see this classic line-up. It was in this configuration that the band enjoyed their biggest success – albums like Rumours and Tango in the Night – and there were lots of great hits to enjoy at the concert.

“You almost forget how many great songs they have…” – SuperBreak’s Michael on Fleetwood Mac

Lindsey Buckingham’s fabulous solo performance of Big Love was a firm favourite, as was his simple acoustic guitar accompaniment with Stevie Nicks on the always-pretty song Landslide. Among the other memorable performances picked out by Team SuperBreak both the intimate Gypsy and the brassy track Tusk got a mention. However, it was the closing number – Christine McVie’s touching track Songbird – which got the most love from SuperBreak-ers Trish and Michael.

“The view was amazing… I’ve never seen a band there before but I’d go and see a band there again!” – SuperBreak’s Becca on The O2 Arena

Our Team know a thing or two about concerts and events, and The O2 Arena itself never fails to impress us. The superb facilities, along with sell-out crowds 16,000 fans, really helped to make Fleetwood Mac’s dates at The O2 Arena this summer extra special.
