This month, SuperBreaker Kay was lucky enough to catch the reunion tour of S Club 7 at London’s greatest venue, The O2 Arena. With the kids in tow, her excited family had a great time! Read all about the experience here…

On Saturday 16th May I set off to London with 2 very excited children. After seeing S Club 7 a few months ago making a comeback on a television show, they decided that they were “cool”. I got the chance to see the event and decided to take them. During the performance S Club 7 were on stage for nearly 2 hours and they never stopped dancing the whole time. They sang all their old hits and had the crowd up on their feet singing and dancing and definitely lived up to expectations. They sang all the old classics including “Reach”, “Bring it All Back” and “S Club Party”.

The view at the O2 was amazing, and the staff were  really welcoming and helpful. The children were most impressed with the huge Dome, and enjoyed watching the massive crowds of people queuing to get in whilst we sailed up the escalator in style.

We stayed at the Novotel Excel which was fantastic, the rooms were large and the breakfast was really lovely. We took the Emirates airline cable car directly from the hotel to right outside the O2. The view from the cable car is fabulous and it helped that it was a lovely sunny day so our panoramic view of London was fantastic.

The only downside of the whole trip was the huge queue for the underground on leaving the concert, so we decided to take a taxi! There was no-one waiting for a taxi so we got one straight away, and it was reasonably priced.

All in all the trip was great… The hotel was conveniently located, the concert was better than we could have expected, and the sun was out all weekend! Now we can’t wait to see Michael McIntyre at The O2 in October…
