David Hinder, Sales Executive South West for Superbreak visited The O2 Arena last week to see Britain’s favourite girl band, Girls Aloud. Here’s his Q&A on what he made of their ten year anniversary tour.

What is it about Girls Aloud that made you want to see them in concert?

As it was their 10 year anniversary I wanted to be part of the celebration. They have been a big part of British music for the last decade and I knew the concert would be a spectacular!

Have you seen the girls in concert before?

First time seeing them for me and I wasn’t disappointed! Lets hope this isn’t the last tour they do.

What did you expect from the concert? Did it live up to expectations?

I expected the concert to roughly match the track listing of their Greatest Hits album – TEN. It more than lived up to this with their stage presence and dance routines and also a few surprise songs such as a cover of last years’ big hit Call Me Maybe!

It’s hard to choose, but who would you say is your favourite member and why?

It would have to be Sarah Harding as I think she has the best voice and also the biggest personality.

What did you think to The O2 Arena? Does it match/better venues you’ve been to before?

It was my second visit to the O2 Arena and I have to say that it is definitely the best concert venue in the UK. There is so much choice for food and drink before you enter the arena itself and then once inside every seat has a great view of the stage.

Are there any other concerts you’re looking forward to this year?

I’m next at the O2 in July for Michael Buble which I am very excited about. He appeals to all ages and is a great entertainer!
