For her second live show of the week, our Product, Transport, Attractions and Events Executive Charlotte Earless saw the mighty Kings of Leon at The O2! Read on to find out what she thought…
What event did you go to see and why?
Kings of Leon, they are one of my favourite bands I hadn’t seem them live before
What did you think of the performance? Did it live up to expectations?
The KOL performance was amazing! The voice of the lead singer was great. The support act The Weeks also need a mention as they were also fantastic
Was this your first visit to The O2? What did you make of the facilities?
It was my third visit to the o2 the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The facilities are great – lots of choice for pre-show dining and drinks, huge merchandise shop and programme sellers all around the arena.
Did you enjoy a meal or drinks out before the event? If so would you recommend the places?
I didn’t eat her this time, but all the restaurants are good and have smaller show menus so you don’t have to wait too long for either a table or your meal
Which hotel did you stay in and what did you think of it? How far was the distance to The O2?
We stayed at the Copthorne Tara it was only 30 mins on the tube
How did you get to The O2? How did you find travelling around London?
We got the Thames Clippers to the O2 which was a fantastic experience, and we got the tube back
How does The O2 compare to other venues?
The O2 is a great venue because its such a unique design, it seems to be able to cope much better with a large volume of people than any other venue I have visited in the UK
