London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week kicks off today at the iconic Somerset House. From now until 22nd February the famous building will once again be host to world class designers, fashionistas and glamorous models stomping the catwalks in their sky scraper heels.

While we’re only just beginning to picture our spring wardrobes and looking forward to longer days and warmer weather (which was pretty tricky considering the amount of snow we had last week!) the fash-pack are already looking ahead to the next season with baited breath to see what will be the new big trend. Here at Superbreak we’re looking forward to seeing the collections from British favourites Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood, whose flamboyant designs never fail to impress.

By its very nature, this is a hugely exclusive event so unless you’re lucky enough to have any insider connections, entry to Somerset House is strictly invite only. However, there is guaranteed to be a vibrant and stylish energy surrounding the event and London beyond. So, if you dress head to toe in your most eye-catching finery and take a stroll along the Strand you might get a glimpse of your favourite celeb dashing to the next show, or even get snapped by a street-style photographer who just has to know where you got that fabulous bag.

Heading to London for a short break during Fashion Week is the perfect time to look for style inspiration and indulge in a little retail therapy. We’ve got an excellent choice of London hotels in the heart of the city that provide easy access to popular shopping destinations including Oxford Street, Selfridges and Harrods as well as the fashion hubbub at Somerset House. Getting to London for a city break couldn’t be easier as we’ve put together a fab range of London Hotel and rail packages that make organising your stylish escape hassle free.

Have you ever attended London Fashion week? What shows are you looking forward to?
