With plenty of glowing reviews from family and friends about the Script’s regional tour, and St Patrick’s Day approaching, it’s fair to say I was eager in anticipation to visit London where the tour was soon to hit.

With, what I thought, a rather unconventional support act by Tinie Tempah it was sure to be an exciting evening. Tinie instantly had the crowds in good spirit and on their feet with well known hits such as ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘Pass Out’, and certainly showed everybody he was a headline star in his own right!

I’m not going to lie, I wouldn’t say I’m a die hard fan of The Script, so I wasn’t expecting to be blown away, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer talent of the band. Covering top hits from their albums such as ‘Breakeven’ and ‘If You Could See Me Now’ I was shocked by how many songs I found my self singing along to.

A personal highlight of mine was seeing Danny (the charismatic lead singer) integrate right into the crowds, something I’d never seen a music star too, it was a credit to how genuine and appreciative the band are of their fans.

Finishing with recent hit ‘Hall of Fame’ the whole audience were on their feet, singing along to every word. For anybody looking for an honest, vocally strong performance, this is the band for you! I may not have entered the O2 arena a die hard fan, but I certainly left as one, all ready to download the new album!

Have you seen The Script perform live on stage too? Perhaps you’ve got tickets to see an event at The O2 soon? Let us know using the comments box below.
