With Children in Need coming up on the 18th November there are a whole host of activities going on across the country for you to join in and take part in. From regional events to concerts and sporting activities there is plenty to enjoy on a city break to support Children in Need.

On Friday 11th, The One Show presenter, Matt Baker sets off on a journey from Edinburgh to London by rickshaw. Stopping at several destinations along the way you can see him progress on his 484 miles ride across the country. From his starting point in Edinburgh he will go through Hexham, York, Lincoln and Cambridge to name a few.

On the 17th November the Manchester MEN is host to Children in Need Rocks, this concert sees some of music’s biggest names get together and perform for thousands of people. Organised by Gary Barlow the night will be one to remember as it features an array of superbly talented stars, including X Factor judge Kelly Rowland, Jamie Cullum, Hugh Laurie, JLS, Lady Gaga, Jessie J, James Morrison, Snow Patrol, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble and Coldplay. Due to its high popularity more tickets have been released and it’s a great night out for anyone on a Manchester Break.

Those on theatre breaks may have noticed that throughout September the West End was invaded by Pop Stars popping up in some of the top musicals. Mamma Mia!, Ghost, Million Dollar Quartet Wicked and We Will Rock You were all taken over by the pop stars in aid of Children in Need.
