Cheryl Cole supporting Black Eyed Peas at the O2

Already being tipped as one of the hottest gigs of the summer, tickets and hotel packages are available now for fans looking to get the most out of a trip to London to see Black Eyed Peas at the O2.

The Grammy award winning group are playing four dates throughout May at the London venue and I reckon there’s every chance they’ll sell out far in advance, especially with the news that their support act will be none other than The X Factor and former Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole – who I’m sure would shift all those tickets even if it was only her name on the bill!

The shows at the O2 will form half of the UK leg of the Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D World Tour, which kicked off in Japan last year before heading to the group’s United States homeland, where singer Fergie debuted an impressive outfit that seemed to be inspired by the 1980s Disney film Tron! We’ll have to wait and see whether Fergie will have the same jaw-dropping ensemble for the UK shows, or something else inspired by the futuristic theme of their music videos.

You can be sure that the Black Eyed Peas will play all their biggest hits at the events, including I’ve Got a Feeling, My Humps and Where is the Love?, and with such a major arena there’s sure to be much more to the show than just the songs. Expect dazzling pyrotechnics, high-flying stunts and other special effects making it a night to remember. My little cousin is a devoted fan, I wonder if she’s got anyone to take her to see them, or if she needs a volunteer…

The Black Eyed Peas will perform at the O2 Arena on Wednesday 5, Thursday 6, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 May, as well as the LG Arena in Birmingham on Saturday 8 May and Tuesday 1 June and Manchester‘s MEN Arena on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 May. The group will then head over to Dublin to play to their Irish fans on Sunday 2 June. Let me just check my diary and give my little cousin a call!
