2012 has been a great year for events here at Superbreak Towers, with everything from John Bishop’s first arena tour to the almighty god’s of British music, The Rolling Stones. You could be mistaken into thinking that we have set the bar too high for ourselves, but looking at the schedule for 2013 events we’d definitely have to disagree! Whether it’s comedy, culture, music or something just a little bit different that you’re looking for next year, the diversity and variety in our 2013 events are sure to have something you’ll fancy seeing. As part of our ‘2013 Trends’ list, we’ve put together a selection of the top ten upcoming events that we think you’ll want to get your hands on. Don’t miss out!

Girls Aloud

1. Girls Aloud

March 2013, The O2 Arena

The nation’s favourite girl group is reuniting for their ten year anniversary and heading back  out on tour for what is sure to be a sell-out spectacular. Join Cheryl, Nicola, Kimberley, Nadine and Sarah as they show us why they’re the UK’s biggest selling girl band of the 21st Century.

2. Strictly Come Dancing Live

January – February, Various Venues

As it enters its sixth year, the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour continues to bring razzle dazzle to arenas around the UK. Don’t miss all of your favourite celebrities and professional dancers from this year’s series, including Denise van Outen, Louis Smith and Victoria Pendleton.

3. NBA Detroit Pistons v New York Knicks

17 January 2013, The O2 Arena

Hosting the sixteenth NBA game to be held outside of the U.S this season, The O2 arena welcomes Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks as they battle it out for glory. Three time winners Detroit are in a state of flux and vulnerable to the Olympic-winning talents of the New York team, but, who will take the victory?

Join ‘The King of Pop’ on his first European solo stadium tour in six years. After huge success with the reformed Take That, Robbie sets off to prove why he’s the one everybody wants to see. 5. Alegria – Cirque du Soleil

July 2013, The O2 Arena

Alegria, a part of the incredible Canadian acrobatics troop, Cirque du Soleil, is heading to The O2 Arena in July. The show has wowed over 10 million people worldwide since its premier in Montreal in 1994 with aerial high-bars, fire dances, gravity-defying acts and incredible synchronised choreography. You’ll never see anything quite like this!

6. Mrs Brown – For the Love of Mrs Brown

June 2013, The O2 Arena

The BAFTA award winning hit comedy series is heading out on its largest arena show to date after roaring success on The BBC. A guaranteed night of side-splitting laughter awaits guests, as Agnes Brown deals with Granddad’s Viagra addiction, her flamboyant hairdresser son and his partner’s bickering and lots of other hilarious adventures.

7. Jason Manford

December 2013, Manchester Arena

Jason Manford has firmly established himself amongst the most popular UK comedians of the moment thanks to performances on Live at The Apollo and 8 Out of Ten Cats. His ‘First World Problems’ tour is visiting his home city of Manchester and his army of fans are likely to pack the arena out, so don’t miss out on your chance to see him.

Bruce Springsteen

8. Bruce Springsteen

15th June 2013, Wembley Stadium

U.S rock legend Bruce Springsteen is continuing his takeover of the UK following on from 2012’s successful shows. His ‘Wrecking Ball Tour’ is coming to Wembley Stadium in June for a sure-fire show of iconic songs and feel-good performances.

9. Wimbledon 2013

July 2013, The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon

A true highlight of the British summer, The Wimbledon Championships are enjoyed by millions every year. Visit No.1 Court to see the finest players in the world compete for the Grand Slam title and the chance to reach the final of the 2013 tournament.

10. Paranormal Activity Breaks

October & November 2013, Chester

For something completely out of the ordinary, why not push the boundaries of the usual short break and attempt one of our Paranormal Activity breaks instead? Explore the haunted hotel, enjoy a fabulous three course dinner and then take a ghost tour of Chester, where you can learn about the ancient city before returning to the hotel to have an in depth séance with a world famous medium, Eleanor Dayton.
